Dr. Dan Witte, PT, DPT, OCS
As a graduate of Louisville High School with long family ties to the area of Cass County I wanted to return to the area to help its residents with their physical therapy needs. It has always been a life goal of mine to help others and improve their quality of life. Physical therapy’s main purpose supports this goal by improving the function and quality of life for the people who seek its services. As a graduate of Creighton University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program this goal was further instilled in me and I gained the skills I needed to provide the benefits of physical therapy to others.
While in physical therapy school I was trained in a variety of physical therapy disciplines including neuromuscular rehab, cardiocvascular rehab, pediatrics, and orthopedics. Since graduating in 2010 I have completed a residency program and become a Certified Orthopedic Specialist. This specialist certification demonstrates my commitment and further education for treating a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions.
Upon graduation I have been employed with Makovicka Physical Therapy as a resident and then clinic director for the past 5 years. I have enjoyed my experiences with that company and want to bring what I have learned to Louisville and the surrounding areas.
My interests outside of physical therapy continue to be family, church, and sports. I try to integrate all of these into every aspect of my life and would not be where I am without them. I continue to enjoy spending time with my family, being involved with their activities and sports, following my favorite teams, and playing as much golf as my time allows.
I with my wife Andrea and children Jaden, Keegan, and Charley look forward to living in, working with, and being involved in the community to help improve its healthcare needs.
