Witte Physical Therapy adds a new location in Hooper, Nebraska!

December 1, 2020 – As the long year of 2020 comes to a close it is important to reflect on where we are and what we have gone through. Many of us will look back on 2020 with very few fond memories of this year. We will think about the ones we have lost, missed, or the struggles they have had. It is important to recognize these issues, but it is also important to search for and find the positives. I have had ups and downs like everyone else, but I have also had some positives. I have a business that has been able to stay open and continue to serve our communities and a staff that continues to show what a true team looks like. A big positive is that I have been able to add to both!

On Monday November, 30, 2020 we were able to add to our clinics. We opened our third clinic in Hooper, Nebraska! This clinic will be open Monday thru Friday from 7am-6pm. Appointments can be scheduled by calling our office at 402-654-2121, stopping in to see our staff, or by visiting our website at www.wittephysicaltherapy.com! This clinic allows us to bring physical therapy services to an area that currently has none. We look forward to serving the communities of Hooper, Scribner, Snyder, Uehling, Winslow, Nickerson, and other surrounding areas and towns.

Also, with the addition of the clinic we were able to add Christy Sieler, PT, DPT, to our staff. She will be serving as the main therapist in Hooper and has recently moved into the area to become a bigger part of the community. Below is why Christy chose to become a physical therapist.

“I have had the desire to be a Physical Therapist since I was a freshman in high school. For 8 years after, I job shadowed at local physical therapy clinics and hospitals which helped solidify my love for the field. My interest in PT began with a free high school sports injury consultation after a bout of “shin splints” I had sustained during track season. I was thoroughly impressed with how my physical therapist took the time to educate me, a high school student, on what was causing my injury and the simple steps I could take to improve my symptoms and prevent the injury from recurring. After that, I made it my goal to become a physical therapist one day so I could educate others about their pain. Along the way, I learned that physical therapy covers so much more than sports injuries. It can also include chronic pain, neuromuscular dysfunctions, wound care, women’s/pelvic health, vestibular therapy, and balance training, to name a few. All of these and more can benefit from physical therapy services. No one should have to live with pain and muscular dysfunction without an answer. Physical therapy can help provide education and knowledge to help better understand your ailments. I am motivated to educate others on how to take control of their health and overall wellbeing and equip them with the tools needed to maintain a healthy life. I look forward to serving the patients of Witte Physical Therapy, especially at our new Hooper clinic.”
